After the whole day at work..and after the whole day at home 😉 My husband and I are catching up at the end of the day, at the pillow times. Kids are asleep, only us and two cups of hot chocolate, just soaking the moment of togetherness. It may not always be talking though, but it could be anything in between. Sometimes we discussed serious matters, or we talked about casual stuff. Or sometimes, we watched Russel Peters and laughed our as**s of. Or any other time, we just watched tv while we curled up to each other. Or, we just drowned in our own gadgets side by side with tangled feet. Feeling that closeness to each other can really be a booster for us, the feeling of needing and to be needed could nurture our intimacy, alongside with other things for sure.
We tried to make and keep our room as ours only. A sanctuary for our intimacy and closeness. We told Abby, 7, that she had that priviledge too for her own room. So she cannot play and jump around in our room without my permission. Even for now there’s a baby who shared our bed, but in time, we will do the same to prepare his own room and again reclaim our own bedroom.
We didn’t schedule this pillow time, it is more like an adjustable time. There are also nights when we both were just too tired, over loaded work, or even I overslept :p. But those nights when we did it, we soaked it all in. Making love after that is just a perfect end but those moments in pillow times is very precious and fulfilling.
Having in infant which I took care by myself is really taking our ‘alone-time’. After almost these past 2 years, when Abby is big enough to be sent away to our relatives so both of us can spend some alone-time, having another baby really change the flow of this matter. Well, I guess we just have to wait a couple more years then. And in the mean time, this pillow times moment is temporarily acceptable 🙂

PS: I was about to make ‘Pillow Talk’ as the title. But, jolly goodness, I browsed it and wikipedia says a different thing about this. Totally the opposite of what I was about to write. Got it! Maybe next time, it will be my next topic. *winks*
Here is Pillow Talk means according to Wikipedia:
is the relaxed, intimate conversation that often occurs between two sexual partners after the act of coitus, usually accompanied by cuddling, caresses, and other physical intimacy. It is associated with honesty, sexual afterglow, and bonding, and is distinguished from dirty talk which usually forms part of foreplay.
